Effective September 29, 2026. ElectricBill.ca is part of HAUSE. You can explore the energy lab without providing a name, email address or property address.

Calculations stay in your browser.

Changing a slider or an assumption runs the calculation on your device. Exploring the lab does not send your scenario to our contact system. This site currently uses no advertising pixels or analytics scripts.

“Save in this browser” stores your scenario in this browser’s local storage only after you choose that action. It can be restored on a later visit using the same browser. It is not an online account or a cloud backup. Clear this site’s browser storage to remove the saved copy. Resetting the current home does not by itself erase a previously saved browser copy.

Shared links and printed Passports.

A shared link includes your scenario assumptions in the URL fragment, the part following the # symbol. Contact fields are not included. Anyone you give the link to can read those assumptions, so share only what you are comfortable disclosing. The fragment is interpreted by the browser and is not part of the normal page request to our host.

Printing or saving a PDF uses your browser’s print function. The resulting document contains your scenario inputs. Where you store or share that file is your choice.

If you ask HAUSE to contact you.

Submitting the request form sends your name, email, selected service, consent wording and a summary of the current Energy Passport assumptions. It also sends the page address, referring page where available, a request identifier, and campaign or advertising-click parameters present in the page URL. These provide context for your request and help us identify repeat submissions and the source of an enquiry.

HAUSE uses that information to capture and manage the request and respond about the service you selected. The request is handled through our cloud-hosted storage, contact-management and internal notification-delivery services. Submission sends an internal alert; the form does not currently send an automated confirmation email to you. An on-screen confirmation indicates receipt.

Do not enter utility account numbers, site IDs, payment information or sensitive personal information. The form does not ask for a bill upload. Information is kept as needed to handle the request and maintain required business records. You can ask about access, correction, removal or withdrawal of contact consent using the email below, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements.

Services that load with the site.

Hosting and security services may process normal technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details and requested pages. Fonts are served with the site. External websites linked here have their own privacy policies. Opening an email link uses your chosen email service.
